MDHS research in Rural Victoria

Where:

The University of Melbourne Rural Health Academic Centre is based at Shepparton (Goulburn Valley Health), with major nodes at Ballarat (Ballarat Health Services) and Wangaratta (Northeast Health).

To get here from the city:

Trains to Shepparton leave from Melbourne Southern Cross Station, and take approximately 2 1/2 hours.  Trains to Ballarat leave from Melbourne Southern Cross Station, and take approximately 1 1/2 hours. Wangaratta is between 3-3 1/2 hours from Melbourne by train/coach. For specific route timetables, go to the Public Transport Victoria website, or the V/Line website.
