Faculty Research (Trust) Scholarships - Funding Information

Faculty Research (trust funded) Scholarships* (FRS) including department and discipline-specific scholarships are made possible by generous donations and bequests.

* Students who plan to be based at an affiliated medical research institute for the duration of their research are ineligible for FRS.

Department/Discipline:

This scholarship is to support postgraduate study in any discipline of Medicine.

This scholarship is to support students undertaking further scientific work to improve training for the profession.

Students intending to pursue research in Australia that will contribute to the clinical practice of family therapy are encouraged to apply.

This scholarship is to support a student engaged in full-time postgraduate studies in medicine under the general direction of Professor of Medicine at St Vincent's Hospital.

This scholarship is to support students of the Faculty of Medicine, Dentistry and Health Sciences for study in respiratory medicine.

This scholarship is to support students undertaking postgraduate study in pathology in the Department of Pathology.

The Carol Willesee scholarship has been established to support a high calibre RHD student undertake research into prion disease in the Department of Pathology. The scholarship provides additional financial support to an existing university scholarship. Students with a university scholarship who have been admitted into a PhD program in the Department of Pathology are eligible to apply.
